We are looking forward to interesting conversations and encounters during the 51st Historikertag from  20th–23rd September 2016 in Hamburg.

The first Historikertag took place in 1893 in Munich – the second, by the way, in Leipzig. Meanwhile, with over 3.000 participants this meeting of German historians and history teachers is one of the biggest European professional congresses in humanities. In this year, lectures and discussions are under the current topic „Matters of faith“. Eudora publishers Leipzig is on site, too, because the meeting-topic offers many overlaps with titles of our publisher´s list: Especially the publications about Southeastern Europe often have a focus on religious life.
